top 4 drugstore facial cleansers

In my twenty years of life, I have tried many facial cleansers – particularly from the drugstore. I never could afford high-end skin care, so did my best to hunt down the best drugstore finds. Throughout the years, I have tested many different facial cleansers and have narrowed it down to my favorites and I am so excited to be sharing them with you!

Also, please share your favorite drugstore facial cleansers in the comments! I’m always on the lookout to try new products and would love to hear your thoughts and what worked for you.

Note: I have normal to dry skin and have had issues in the past with many facial cleansers drying out my skin. The facial washes I list down below (in no particular order) are the ones I have found worked best for my skin and my lifestyle!

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser:

This one is an “oldie but a goodie.” It is super gentle and good for all skin types – even though it is marketed towards “normal to oily” skin. After use, my skin feels fresh and clean without leaving a greasy film behind. Additionally, it doesn’t dry out my dry skin! Great for day-to-day use.

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser:

Now, you’re probably thinking, “Deanna, why is a charcoal cleanser on your favorites list when you have dry skin?” Here’s why: this cleanser gives me such a cool and refreshing feeling and my skin feels SO clean afterwards that it is worth the slight drying feeling my skin gets. I just use a hydrating moisturizer afterwards. Besides that, this cleanser has never broken me out, doesn’t leave me excessively dry, and actually makes me feel like I got all the “junk” out of my skin. Love it!

Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser:

This cleanser is simply amazing. Not only does this cleanser smell delightful, but it is gentle, removes makeup well, lightweight, moisturizing, and natural! I started seeing a difference to my skin within the first week of using this and couldn’t put it down. If you have extremely oily skin, I wouldn’t recommend this to you due to the immense hydration you get from it. But other than that, I would definitely go and purchase this!

Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity Facial Wash:

I cannot give enough praise to this product. It smells super yummy, has mini exfoliating beads, fit for all skin types, and you get lots of product (11.8 Fl. Oz.) for the price! I am currently using this facial cleanser and am about half way through and I can confidently say that I would re-purchase when I run out. This has to be one of the most under-rated drugstore facial cleansers.

I love them so much that I wanted to share my favorites with all of you! I am always on the lookout for top quality items and hacks while staying on a college budget. If you try any of the products or hacks that I mention, please let me know! Additionally, I’m using this platform to share myself with you and to take a look into my life. 1. I’ve tried Biore and use it every now and then alongside my new regular African Black Soap, but I definitely wanna give the Cetaphil a try sometime! Thanks for sharing this! Check out my latest posts?
